Rotary Park, Merimbula was the venue for the 2013 Australia Day Celebrations hosted by the Merimbula Rotary Club.  Here we witnessed seven  new Australian Citizens make their pledge of commitment to our Country.  The "Big Breakfast" supplied by Woolworths and cooked by Rotary was delicious and we were entertained by the Sapphire Coast Concert Band and Peter O'Brien and his team from Footprint Theatre. John Listern, OAM, delivered an inspiring Ambassador's address and Ruby Dein from Eden Marine High captivated the audience with her views on what it means to Her to be an Australian.  A thoroughly enjoyable morning.
